We treat the area with an approved, low odour, fast drying preservative, often by spraying, which penetrates the timber, kills the Insect or Fungus and leaves a residue to prevent further infestation. It may be necessary to cut back badly damaged timber and replace it with pre-treated wood to achieve the level of protection of wood treated.
